ŠTA TO BEŠE MEĐUVESRKI DIJALOG?/WHAT IS THAT "A DIALOGUE BETWEEN RELIGIONS"?

Globalizacija bi trebalo da nas sve povezuje, zar ne? Treba da stvori jedno ogromno društvo u kojem će se svi poštovati i niko neće biti prozivan ili osuđivan zbog rase, vere ili ne znam ja čega. A pogledajte šta mi zapravo radimo drugačijem od sebe.

Religija predstavlja dogmatski skup ubeđenja koja čine osnovu jednog naroda. To što smo mi rascepkali hrišćanstvo na stotinak denominacija ne daje nam za pravo da svoja ubeđenja i viđenje sveta i prilika predstavimo kao jedina ispravna i opravdana. Istorijski gledano, mislim da je više Jevreja i muslimana stradalo od hrišćanske ruke nego svi hrišćani od udruženih snaga muslimana.

Nekako je hrišćanskom svetu taj islam uvek bio trn u oku. Tamanimo se međusobno još od vajkada! Ali sada u periodu kada masovni mediji imaju ogromnu moć da oblikuju našu stvarnost i prikažu je onako kako bi proizveli što veći konflikt kako bi im on doneo zaradu, sve postaje hod po tankom ledu.

Prvo je neki Danac pre par godina rešio da se „sprda“ sa prorokom Muhamedom – dobro, čemu to? Branio se slobodom mišljenja, govora...bla bla bla! Pa što baš Muhameda, što ne neku ličnost iz hrišćanstva, dansku kraljicu ili Malu sirenu? Ali ne, mi uvek volimo da se čačkamo sa onim što je zabranjeno, a mislim da je opšte poznata činjenica da je predstavljanje lika Allaha i Muhameda strogo zabranjeno.

Sada fora sa ovim filmom. Dobro, sad mislim da smo preterali. Posle nije ni čudo što se zaleću avionima u naše znamenitosti, tako je jer smo mi to izazvali.

Treba razumeti da je tim ljudima islam, i sami zakoni islama, mnogo iznad državnih zakona, da je on dublje utemeljen u njihove sisteme vrednosti nego nama hrišćanstvo. Na pitanje kako bi se mi osećali kad bi se neko „poigrao“ sa likom Isusa ne verujem da bih dobio mnogo odgovora da bi ih povredilo toliko da se daju u protest, zar ne?

A tek onaj Yankee sveštenik koji je palio Kuran i pozivao na masovno paljenje istog? Alo dečko, i tebi je neko dao dozvolu da propovedaš Reč Božiju?!?!?! Taj slučaj stvarno ne vredi ni komentarisati. Mene bi već povredilo da vidim kako neki neuki musliman pali i gazi Bibliju, skup onoga na čemu se temelji moje društvo.

Ali ne, mi uvek kritikujemo muslimane zbog konzervativnosti, fundamentalizma, nepoštovanja ljudskih pravi i svega čega još možemo da se setimo, a to što neki glasnogovornici i „slobodni umetnici“ po našem slobodnom svetu podrivaju osnovne sisteme vrednosti naseg društva to nas boli briga – tu je do izražaja došla ona poslovica: „ne sređuj svoje dvorište, nego trkom u komšijsko!“

Da li postoji zapovest u Bibliji „ljubi bližnjeg svog“? Ako postoji, treba podhitno svi da je istetoviramo na čelo i pogledamo se u ogledalo svaki put kada bismo da ismevamo nešto što ne razumemo i što nije za ismevanje.

WHAT IS THAT "A DIALOGUE BETWEEN RELIGIONS"?

Globalization should connects us all, no? It’s supposed to create a vast society in which everyone is respected and no one will be called out and condemned because of race, religion, or I do not know what. A brief look at what we are doing to “the different from us”.

Religion is a dogmatic set of beliefs that form the basis of a nation. The fact that we made hundreds of denominations out of Christianity does not give us the right to put our own beliefs and view of the world as the only true and justified. Historically, I think that more Jews and Muslims were killed by Christian hands than Christians with all the combined forces of the Muslims.

Somehow to the Christian world Islam has always been an eyesore. We are killing each other since the Bing bang! But now, at a time when the mass media have enormous power to shape our reality and has a way to produce as much conflict out of nowhere as it would have made a profit, every action becomes walking on thin ice.

First of all, a Danish comic book writer, a few years ago decided to "play" the prophet Muhammad - seriously? He defended the freedom of thought, speech ... blah blah blah! So why Muhammad, why not a figure in Christianity, Danish Queen or The Little Mermaid? But no, we simply adore to play with what is forbidden, and I think it is a commonly known fact that it’s forbidden to depict the figure of Allah and Muhammad.

Now, this film. Well, now I think we have gone too far. After it is no wonder they are crashing planes in our buildings - it is because we caused it.

We should understand that these people value Islam, and the very laws of Islam, much above the laws of the state, it’s deeply rooted in their system of values and the sense of moral than Christianity for us. When asked how we would feel if someone "toyed" with the image of Jesus, I don’t think I’d got a lot of answers that it would hurt us so much to make a protest, isn’t it?

And that Yankee priest who burned the Koran and called for a mass burning of the same? Hello guy, how come someone has given you permission to preach the Word of God??? This case really is not worth a comment. I would feel hurt to see that some ignorant Muslims burn and trample the Bible, a collection of rules of where my society is based.

But no, we always criticize Muslims for conservatism, fundamentalism, human rights violations and everything else which we can not remember, and that some spokesmen and "free artists" in our “free world” undermine the basic of their system of values of society we actually don’t  give a shit how it reflects them - that was fully expressing the saying: "Do not tune your own garden, but the neighbor's!"

Is there a commandment in the Bible saying "Love thy neighbor"? If there is, you need urgently to tattoo it on your forehead and look in the mirror every time you would like to ridicule something you do not understand and what is not to be mocked.
